Heather Hillstrom

Heather Hillstrom graduated with Honors from California State University, Northridge, in 2004. She earned her B.A. in film production and screenwriting, and is the winner of the 2003 Michael C. Rasmussen Memorial Scholarship.

She has directed three television commercials, written and directed several short films and videos, and worked as crew in student and independent film productions, TV pilots for Warner Bros. and Touchstone, a Discovery Channel docudrama, and features directed by J.J. Abrams and Oliver Stone. While at school, she completed internships at the Cannes Film Festival and New Line Cinema. Between crew assignments, Heather is writing a full-lenth screenplay and in pre-production on her next short film. Her goal is to write and direct feature motion pictures.


James Schafer

Jimmy Schafer is an award-winning film composer who recently finished his BM degree at Cal State Northridge in Media Music Composition. He has composed orginal film scores to numerous films ranging from commercials and shorts to feature lengths. Not too long ago, he had the honor of being selected as the composer to work on "Recalling Ted," a CSUN student film sponsored by Kodak.

He is an accomplished composer and arranger in other forms as well, and has written many works for large orchestra, wind ensemble, small ensemble, jazz ensemble, choral, rock/pop songs and solo instruments.

Jimmy is also a talented trumpet player who has performed in the Tournament of Roses Parade, Hollywood Christmas Parade and the Reno Jazz Festival. His career goals are to continue composing music for films and to work successfully in the music industry. A demo CD is available upon request.


Bianca Bahena
Director of Photography

Bianca Bahena is a 2004 graduate of CSUN, with a BA in film production. She has been the Director of Photography (DP) for three other CSUN student film projects over the past two years, and is currently working as a DP on independent films.

Bianca began working with camera equipment and making short films while still in high school, and transfered to CSUN after completing her A.A. in Liberal Arts at Allan Hancock Junior College. She completed the Kodak Student Filmmakers Intern Program at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

In addition to her cinematography, Bianca works as a photographer for actors and dancers in the Los Angeles area. A photo portfolio is available upon request, and a cinematography demo reel will be available soon. Bianca plans to continue to work as a Director of Photography.


Joe Shanahan

Joe Shanahan graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2004 with a B.A. in Film Production. While at CSUN, Joe was Producer/Director/Editor/DP on “Symphony of Murder” and Editor on “Double Occupancy”, in addition to Producer/Editor on “The Wounded Man”. He has also been a Production Assistant and Boom Operator for an independent film “The Last Patient” and is currently in the midst of post-production and preperation for the promotion of “The Wounded Man”.

Joe plans to make a career as a Producer and Editor in feature films, small independent films, and/or music videos. He also plans on starting his own production company, BadJoe Productions.
